Nant Ucha is on the slopes of the Panorama Range above Llangollen, close to the World Heritage Site of Poncysyllte Aqueduct and the Llangollen Canal.

There are scenic canal and hill walks on the doorstep and canal boats can be hired daily for a memorable voyage across the aqueduct or through the Vale of Llangollen into the town.

The Panorama walk is one mile away, from which on a clear day seven counties can be seen.

Enjoy a day-trip to Snowdonia, historic Chester, or Lakes Bala and Vyrnwy.

The beautiful Vale of Llangollen, with it’s dramatic mountain backdrop and boulder-strewn River Dee is the setting for this pretty Tourist Town, internationally famous for its Musical Eistedfodd.

Explore the green valley by Steam Train or Canal Boat, or take in an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Bran, high above the town, in order to enjoy the breath-taking views.

Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops.

The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are within easy driving distance, while a day long car trail can take you to visit six of the ‘Seven Wonders of Wales’.

Offa’s Dyke Path passes nearby and boasts pleasant walking along the crest of the Clwyd Hills.
